Musing about raising boys into men at Betty's house.
Today I asked Betty:
How does a a single woman raise sons of worth?
First to become an adult (same for females and males) is to be responsible for your choices.
To become an adult you must be able to physically, financially, mentally able to take care of yourself.
To become a man you must be able to sacrifice for the opposite sex.
The boys bodies are made alot different than the girls and I find it very hard to teach them the proper way to lift weights, how to swing a sledge hammer, the skills that a man has is very hard to share with the boys sometimes. I try an borrow men with these skills to teach them.
I pray I can teach all the boys to value themselves with self esteem and self respect.
